Mr Bear Qld 2023 Competition Tonight, Brisbears brings you the main event - The Mr Bear QLD 2023 Competition. Join us and cheer on your favourite bear, who will compete over 3 rounds for the coveted title of Mr Bear QLD 2023. More than just a beauty pageant, the winner will be our Brisbears figurehead, a charity champion and our representative at Southern Hibearnation for 2024. Along with our judges who are well respected members of the bear community you will have your opportunity to vote for your favourite bear too. To get you warmed up on the dance floor our DJ will be none other than local legend Les Smith, who will take you right through till close. It truly will be a night to remember. This event can be purchased as part of the ‘Members Gold Pass” or can be purchased separately. This event is a private male-only event. It is open to males and those who identify as male. 

The award-winning Balls OUT Bingo Brisbane has been a huge success for the now for many years. Many a bear has graced the stage as a ball boy. Now is the time for our Mr Qld Bear 2023 contestants to take their turn at the barrel, as Gayleen Tuckwood calls the numbers. Game Books are $15 and can be purchased on the night. All proceeds will go back into the LGBTIQA+ community. Register through us to reserve your seat. Reservations are held until 7:15 pm on the night. Join us from 12pm for a BBQ and Bearfoot bowls at Brisbane’s iconic Merthyr Bowls Club.   This will be the perfect casual afternoon before our Mr Bear QLD 2023 competition kicks off later in the evening.   This event is open to everyone - bears, admirers and their families.  

Brisbears are introducing something 'steamy' for NEX 23.  Get ready for an experience that will have you wanting more.  NEX 23 Sauna Party at WET Spa and Sauna will be where bears, gays and 'steamy' enthusiasts all come together for a night of hot, wild fun.  Our DJ for the event will be DJ Buzz William spinning tunes from 6pm to 11pm.   Tickets can be purchased at the venue on the night for $27.

Northern Exposure 2023 is coming soon!   Celebrating our 30th anniversary, we are going bigger and better than any year before.  Events this year include our Meet and Greet Dinner, 'Bear'Foot Lawn Bowls, Pool Party, Mr Bear QLD 2023 competition and of course Underbear! Your host for the evening will be the fabulous Shanny T-Bone who will entertain you throughout the night as she introduces and puts the contestants for Mr Bear QLD 2023 through their paces.  There will also be performances on the night from Shanny T-Bone, Moose, Maxi-Bon and Phoenix Knight. This event is open to everyone - Bears, admirers and your families. The event can be purchased as part of the "Members Gold Pass” or separately.

This is your one-stop ticket to all the most sought after events. With the Members Gold Pass not only you will gain entry to the Meet and Greet Dinner on Wednesday night, but you will also get priority reservations to the Mr Bear Qld 2023 Competition and the following events free... Underbear. Sunday 'Bear-well'. Mr Bear Qld, Underbear and the Sunday 'Bear-well 'are free events to Gold Pass holders. Individual reservations will be available at a later date. Join us on the 16th of September at our monthly Brisbears den night, and our new event 'Kink Bear"  Come along and display your kinky side.  Whether its rubber, leather, wrestling, or whatever your kink may be, this is the event to let them show from 9pm in the Bunker Bar of the Sportsman Hotel in Spring Hill.  Our DJ for the night will be none other than Pup Kaiden, a favourite amongst our members.   Our cloak room will be manned by the amazing Front Runners for this event, with a $2 fee to safe keep your street clothes or bags. One of our biggest events is back for another year.  'UnderGlow' is back!  Welcome to UnderBear with a UV / glow twist.  This was a sellout event for Brisbears in 2022, so get your tickets early.  This is one glow party you are not going to want to miss.   Wear a jock that's white or fluro coloured, or a harness that glows or is UV reflective. The Bunker Bar will glow with a myriad of UV colours and shades of white. Fluorescent green, pink, yellow, and orange are the UV colours that will light up your night. Your music master for Underglow is the incredible Pup Riff, who will be on the decks from open till close. Our favourite cloakers, Frontrunners will be manning the cloak room for the night. Dress regulation for the night will be underwear (jocks, boxers, jock strap etc) with no pants. T-Shirts and singlets can be worn, but you will find that after a while being in your underwear ends up being your preference.
