Join Mr Bear Qld and the Bears on Friday 3 July 2026 for a big, bold and fabulous night of queer cabaret, all in support of our current Mr Bear Qld, Samson, and his fundraising for his chosen charity, Youth Housing Project.   Hosted by Mr Bear Qld himself, Samson, with the brilliant Paul Wheeler as MC and Galleon keeping the vibes going on the decks, this is set to be a night full of laughs, talent, cheek, camp and perhaps a little chaos.   We’ve got a packed lineup of incredible performers ready to hit the stage, including Maxi Bon, Rubenesque, Jacob, Cheri Bobbyns, Archie Arsenic, Boo, Lord Sev, Helen Wheels, Ursa Major, Teddy Bearback, Whisper and Felix.   Doors open from 6pm, with the first show kicking off at 7pm, so grab your friends, grab a drink, settle in and get ready for a night of bear-bar cabaret fun for a bloody good cause. There’ll also be raffles on the night, so bring along a little extra luck and help raise even more for this worthy charity.   Come for the performers, stay for the party, and help Samson raise funds for Youth Housing Project.  

🐻 JUNE DEN NIGHT 🐻 If it’s been a minute since you stepped into the bunker, consider this your nudge. Den Night is calling  Doors open from 9pm with that easy, familiar pub energy. No rush. No fuss. Come early, grab a drink, park yourself with your crew and let the night unfold. Feeling peckish? The kitchen’s open from 5:30pm upstairs, so make an evening of it before drifting down when you’re ready.   From 9pm, Jack Popper takes command of the decks, dialling up the sound and keeping the floor alive well into the night. No theme. No dress code. No cloak check. Just a proper, old-school Den Night.   Turn up as you are. Wear what you like. It’s about bears, mates, music, and that unmistakable feeling of being exactly where you’re meant to be. Third Saturday of the month. Same bunker. Fresh chapter. 

This month, we’re seeing Leviticus at 5 Star Cinemas, New Farm - Thursday 18th June - 7:00 pm session.   If you’re keen, book your own ticket online and meet us there. Dancing Bears is taking over the Bunker! 🐻🪩   This night is all about the dance floor — big beats, sweaty moves, lights and bears letting loose. With GALLEON serving up Non-Stop Music, you can hit the bar, grab a drink, catch your breath… then get straight back out there and keep dancing.  Whether you’re a full-blown dancefloor junkie, a cheeky hip-shaker, or just here for the vibes, this is your night to move.   Party from 9pm – 2am.

Sportsball is back, bears! 🐻⚽️🏀🏈⚾️🥎🎾🏐🏉🐻   Some of you will need to dust off the sports gear… and some of you, let’s be honest, basically live your life in it. Get into your favourite kit and join us in the Bunker for a night of cheeky, sporty fun with beats by 🎵Luke La Beat🎧 keeping the dancefloor moving.   Dress code is any sports attire — footy shorts, rugby gear, wrestling singlets, basketball shorts, tennis whites, cricket kits, swinwear, gym wear, team colours, or anything that says “I came to play.” Shoes must be worn at all times — no barefoot ball games, boys. The cloakroom will be open, so there’s no excuse not to gear up and get amongst it.   Our members draw is back too! You must be a current financial member and present on the night to claim the cash prize. Bar service and tunes from 9pm.    See you on the field. 🐻

Bear Bingo is on, baby! 🐻🎱 Join us for a night of numbers, laughs, prizes and just the right amount of chaos, hosted by the fabulous Katya Lou-King — with your very own Mr Bear Qld 2025, Samson, keeping things rolling as our official ball boy. Grab your bingo books at the door, settle in, and get ready for a fun night with the bear community. Even better, all money raised will go towards Mr Bear Qld and Samson’s chosen charity, Youth Housing Project. Make a night of it!
